KOI GARDEN
Seven spots. Seven stages of the path.
And a legend for each of them.
Seven spots. Seven stages of the path.
And a legend for each of them.
Fifty-four steps, one for each of the peoples that make up Vietnam. Ordinary life stays down below.
The legend says: walking up every step without looking back means agreeing to move forward.
Built by Tuyến with his own hands. Real, yet it never takes off — and that is the whole point.
The legend says: sit inside and picture your life the way you want to see it.
In Vietnam the mountains are believed to be where a person comes closer to their destiny.
The legend says: stand here with intent and look at the mountains — from then on nothing happens by chance.
The lotus grows out of muddy water and opens up clean.
The legend says: think of one thing holding you back — and leave it here.
Stone palms form a heart, and inside the heart are the mountains.
The legend says: for a couple the bond grows stronger. For someone alone, the meeting is said to be near.
Cool vaults shaped after the caves of Quảng Bình. It goes quiet here.
The legend says: stay in the silence and you will hear what truly matters to you.
The end of the route. Koi carp stand for luck, strength and abundance.
The legend says: make a wish and feed the carp — that is what sets things in motion.
A carp that swims against the current eventually turns into a dragon. The name carries that idea of the path.
The full story of every spot is told by the guide on site.
54 steps, one per people of Vietnam.
Built by hand. Real, but it never flies.
The point where you rise above ordinary life.
Where you leave behind what you no longer need.
Mountains reflected inside a heart of palms.
Modelled on the Quảng Bình caves. Silence and shade.
Where the path ends. A symbol of abundance.
The seven spots are the path. But a day at KOI Garden does not end there.

Two pools with sun loungers, a slide and a ball pit for children, a ship on the lawn. Towels are provided on site.

At sunset musicians and dancers take the stage, the evening lights come on and dinner is served under the open sky.

Fish in sauce, prawn and mango salads, desserts. Coffee, tea and bubble tea in the hall under the neon sign. Your plate is brought straight to a table by the pond or inside a cave.
Every spot here appeared at a certain point in Tuyến's life — and reflects the state he was going through.
The KOI Garden evening tour: hotel transfer, a Russian-speaking guide, a show with performers and dinner. The legends are told on site, the way the garden's creator tells them himself.
